How can I give someone access to the directory?
There are three ways you can give someone access to your directory:
  1. As a regular member. To invite someone as a member, add their email address to their entry in the directory, and then click the invite link next to their name in the sidebar. If you want all new additions to be automatically invited, you can change this setting on the organization settings page. Members are allowed to view the directory and to edit their own entry in the directory.
  2. As an editor. You can make someone an editor regardless of whether the person is already a member. To make someone an editor, add their email address to the list of editors on the organization settings page. Editors are allowed to edit the entire directory.
  3. As an admin. Admins are the same as editors, except that they are also allowed to modify the organization settings, print settings, and to send member invitations. You were automatically made an admin when you signed up your organization. You will normally want to make someone an admin if you are sharing or handing off responsibility for the directory.
How can I revoke someone's access to the directory?
If you just want to revoke editor or admin privileges, just delete them from the Permissions table on the organization settings page. If you want to revoke all access, delete the person from the directory.
What about printing?
From the Print tab, you can download a PDF file containing your entire directory, ready to be sent to the printers. The print format can be customized by the group admin.
Can I belong to multiple organizations?
If you are invited to two (or more) organizations, you can follow the instructions in the invitation to join the two accounts. You will then be able to switch between them using the links at the top of the screen, without having to logout and login again.
If you want to signup another organization, you have to go through the regular signup process. You should use the same email address you use to log in to your existing account.
How do I change my email address?
Once you've logged in, changing your email address in the directory will not change the email address you use to log in. If you want to change your login, go to the account settings page by clicking the Account link at the top of the screen.
